Library Fashion Friday Contest
Show us your best library fashion on Friday in the Exhibit Hall and you (and your team) could win a prize! Judges will award prizes in three categories:

  • Most Spirited
  • Best Bookish Character
  • Best Group

Prize Drawings
The winners of the library fashion contest will be announced, plus names will be drawn to win door prizes. Please be sure to turn in your “Passport to Prizes” playing card (inside on-site book) by 10 a.m. on Friday to be eligible for the prize giveaways.

Closing General Session featuring Keynote Speaker Fobazi Ettarh
Creator of the concept Vocational Awe, Fobazi Ettarh is currently the Undergraduate Success Librarian at Rutgers Newark. Her research is concerned with the relationships and tensions between the espoused values of librarianship and the realities present in the experiences of marginalized librarians and users. Ettarh is the author of the blog WTF is A Radical Librarian, Anyway? which examines issues at the intersections of librarianship, education, activism, and social justice.
