Come enjoy the thrill of victory and the hilarity of defeat! Back by popular demand and an annual OLC tradition, Battledecks is a test of nerves and the ultimate challenge for a public speaker (or someone who just likes to talk).

(Registration fee includes this event; Convention and Expo badge is required)
OLC would like to thank the Friends of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County and the Library Foundation for sponsoring this event. Shuttles will run on a continuous rotation (from 6:00-9:00 p.m.) between the Duke Energy Convention Center Elm Street entrance and the Main Library of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.

Join us for an all-conference reception at the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County’s Main Library. Relax and enjoy the local flavors of Cincinnati and connect with colleagues. Library tours will be available and staff will be on-hand to discuss programs and services. The Friends shop will be open for business and will offer discounts for Convention attendees (Registration packet will include a Friends shop coupon). There will be a cash bar during this event.

Please note: The library will close to the general public at 6:00 p.m. and will re-open for Convention attendees only. Convention and Expo badges will be required for admittance.

The Ultimate Library Live Trivia Contest
Compete against librarians across the state for prizes and bragging rights as the smartest librarian in Ohio! Organize your team of up to eight competitors or join a team on the spot for a night of live trivia. Spectators are welcomed. Participants need not stay for the entire game, but we think you’ll find it hard to tear yourself away! Great prizes will be awarded. There will be a cash bar.

Live Music Hootenanny!
An annual tradition, the OLC’s Hootenanny features live music and a chance for you to jump into the jam session. Bring your instrument! There will be a cash bar.
