Expo Committee Creates Space for Attendees to Relax and Reconnect
This year’s Convention and Expo theme of “Libraries as Allies” will be on full display in the Exhibit Hall. The Expo Committee wants to celebrate all of the hard work being done in our libraries and communities by creating a space in the Exhibit Hall for attendees to relax, reconnect, and reflect.
In the Exhibit Hall, you can…
You can relax at one of our Zen garden tables. Visit the art station and create a anti-stress ball, or make some colorful art. Reconnect with other attendees over a life-size game of Jenga or Connect Four. Reflect on all of the hard work you’ve done this year at one of our Affirmation Stations. Talk with all of the amazing vendors and be sure to explore the Gadget Gallery. You can also get your photo taken.
Professional Headshots
The sign-up sheet for professional headshots will be available at the Expo Committee booth (in the back of the Exhibit Hall) during the Exhibit Hall Grand Opening Reception on Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Time slots are limited – available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Self-Care Videos
The Expo Committee has also designed a series of self-care and professional videos to help you relax and unwind during the Convention and Expo. Videos can be viewed through the OLC mobile app. If you haven’t done so already, download the OLC events app.
We will also be displaying examples of Ohio public library workers in action on our big screen in Exhibit Hall. Be sure to check it out.
We are looking forward to seeing you next month!
